Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ
What does an index of 1.0 mean?
An index of 1.0 represents the statistical average of a specific category. A BVI (Brand Value Index) of 0.85 means the item is 15% cheaper than the brand's own average for that category.
Why is the "Market Alpha" important?
It allows you to compare value across different brands. A low MAI (Market Alpha Index) suggests the product offers superior specifications or quality for a lower-than-market-average price.
How often is the data updated?
We synchronize our database daily. Any changes in the official source data, including price drops or new arrivals, are reflected on our platform within 24 hours.
Is the Value Score subjective?
No. It is strictly calculated using a fixed weighted formula: 45% Material Quality, 30% Brand Premium, and 25% Craftsmanship & Trends. We use data, not opinions.
Are taxes included in the prices?
Our indices use the Base Price provided by brands to ensure global comparability. Regional taxes and shipping fees are not included in the index calculations.
